Target stubborn fat. Refine your shape. Let your results develop naturally.
There’s a reason fat freezing has become one of the most recognised non-surgical body-contouring treatments.
Because even when you are disciplined with your diet, active in your daily life and trying to take care of your body, some areas simply refuse to change.
The lower stomach.
The waist and love handles.
The thighs.
The upper arms.
Those small, stubborn pockets of fat can remain even when the rest of your body changes. They can make clothing feel uncomfortable, affect the way your shape looks in photographs and leave you wondering why one specific area is not responding to all your effort.
This does not mean that you are lazy or doing something wrong.
Some fat cells are simply more resistant than others.
Fat freezing is designed specifically for these localised areas.
It is not a general weight-loss treatment. It is a body-contouring treatment designed to help refine your shape where diet and exercise may not be enough on their own.
What is fat freezing?
Fat freezing, also known as cryolipolysis, is a non-surgical treatment that uses carefully controlled cooling to target fat cells beneath the skin.
Fat cells are more sensitive to cold temperatures than the surrounding skin and many of the structures around them. The treatment is designed to cool the selected fat layer while protecting the skin’s surface.
There are no needles, no injections and no surgical incisions.
The purpose is not to change your entire body overnight.
It is to focus on one specific area that has been frustrating you and gradually reduce the appearance of that stubborn bulge.
How does fat freezing work?
* The area is carefully assessed
Before treatment, the selected area is assessed to determine whether it is suitable for fat freezing. The applicator and number of paddles are chosen according to the size and shape of the area.
Fat freezing works best on a localised, pinchable pocket of fat—not on large-scale weight loss.
* Controlled cooling is applied
A protective gel pad is placed over the skin before the applicator is positioned.
The applicator then draws the selected area into the treatment cup and delivers controlled cooling to the underlying fat layer.
You may initially feel pulling, pressure, intense cold, tingling or stinging. These sensations usually become less noticeable as the area gradually becomes numb.
* The body begins its natural clearing process
The cooling affects the targeted fat cells and triggers a natural response in the body.
Over the following weeks and months, the body gradually processes and removes the damaged fat cells through its own natural systems.
There is no sudden or unnatural change.
The treated area simply begins to look less full as the body completes the process.
* The contour develops gradually
As the fat layer becomes smaller, the treated area may appear smoother, slimmer and more proportioned.
The result is designed to look natural because the change happens over time—not all at once.
Why clients choose fat freezing
* It targets the areas that effort cannot always change
Many clients come to us after trying to improve the area through exercise, healthier eating or weight loss.
They may have lost weight elsewhere, but the stomach, thighs, arms or waist still look the same.
Fat freezing gives attention to that specific area instead of requiring you to lose weight from your entire body.
* It does not require surgery
Unlike liposuction, fat freezing does not involve cutting the skin or surgically removing fat.
There is no anaesthetic, no surgical scar and usually no restriction on normal activities afterwards.
You can have your treatment and continue with your day, although the area may feel tender, numb or sensitive for a while afterwards.
* The change develops privately
One of the reasons clients appreciate fat freezing is that the results are gradual and discreet.
You do not suddenly look as if you have had surgery.
Instead, the area slowly becomes less prominent over the following weeks. Other people may not know that you have had a treatment, but you may begin to notice that your clothes fit differently and your body looks more balanced.
* It helps refine your shape—not replace your identity
Fat freezing is not about becoming a different person.
It is about improving the proportion of an area that has made you feel uncomfortable or self-conscious.
Sometimes a relatively small change in one stubborn area can make a surprisingly large difference to how you feel in your clothes, in photographs and in your own body.
Which areas can be treated?
Fat freezing is commonly used for localised fat around the abdomen, waist, love handles, thighs and upper arms.
Depending on the applicator and the treatment plan, other suitable areas may also be assessed.
The treatment is not designed for large amounts of weight loss, loose skin or areas where there is not enough soft tissue for the applicator to treat effectively.
A consultation and proper assessment are important because not every area or every client is a suitable candidate.
What can you expect during the treatment?
A typical treatment may take approximately an hour, depending on the area being treated and the number of paddles used.
The first few minutes may feel intense because of the pulling sensation and cold. The area normally becomes numb as the treatment continues.
Most clients relax, watch something on their phone or simply allow the treatment to take place.
After the applicator is removed, the area may be massaged briefly according to the treatment protocol.
There is no need to take time off work or avoid normal activity, although you may experience temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tingling, tenderness or numbness.
When will you see results?
Fat freezing is not instant—and that is exactly why the results develop in a natural-looking way.
Some clients begin noticing small changes after approximately three weeks. More visible changes are often noticed after two to three months, while the body may continue processing the treated fat cells for several months afterwards.
The final result depends on the treatment area, the device, the number of treatments, your body and your lifestyle.
Clinical results are often reported as a modest reduction in the treated fat layer, sometimes around 15–20% on average. This is not a guaranteed result, and it should never be understood as a promise that every client will lose a specific number of centimetres or a fixed percentage of fat.
Some clients may need more than one treatment in the same area. If another treatment is recommended, sufficient time must be allowed for the body to respond before the area is treated again.
Why waiting can cost you progress
One of the biggest mistakes clients make is waiting until the last minute.
Fat freezing needs time.
If you have a wedding, holiday, special event or personal goal coming up, starting earlier gives your body more time to complete the process and allows you to assess whether additional treatment may be helpful.
Every month you postpone is another month spent covering the area, adjusting your clothes, avoiding certain outfits or hoping it will change on its own.
You may continue exercising and eating well, but if that one area has remained resistant for years, waiting may not be enough.
The sooner you begin, the sooner your body can begin its gradual process of refinement.
You do not need to wait until you feel desperate.
You do not need to wait until your body looks “perfect.”
You only need to decide that the area deserves focused attention.
Is fat freezing permanent?
The fat cells affected by a properly performed cryolipolysis treatment are intended to be permanently removed by the body.
However, fat freezing does not prevent future weight gain.
The remaining fat cells in the treated area can still enlarge, and weight may also be stored in other areas of the body. Maintaining a stable weight and healthy lifestyle is therefore important for protecting your results.
Fat freezing gives you a head start in refining the treated area.
It does not remove the need to look after your body afterwards.
Fat freezing is not weight loss
Fat freezing is designed for body contouring—not for treating obesity or producing general weight loss.
It is best suited to people who are already reasonably close to their desired weight but have small areas of stubborn fat that have not responded to diet and exercise.
It is also not a replacement for balanced nutrition, regular movement or medical weight-management support.
The goal is a smoother, more proportioned appearance in the treated area.
Not a dramatic change on the scale.
Hydration and lifestyle still matter
Your body needs time and support while it processes the treated fat cells.
Drinking enough water, eating balanced meals, staying active and maintaining a stable weight can all support your overall body-contouring journey.
There is no need for extreme diets or unrealistic restrictions.
The best results come from combining a suitable treatment with realistic, sustainable habits.
Who should not have fat freezing?
Fat freezing may not be suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an abnormal sensitivity to cold or suffer from conditions such as Raynaud’s phenomenon, cold urticaria, cryoglobulinaemia, cold agglutinin disease or paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria.
Treatment should not be performed over open wounds, damaged skin, active dermatitis, severe varicose veins or other skin lesions.
People with certain nerve conditions, including diabetes-related neuropathy, may also not be suitable candidates.
Please disclose your full medical history before booking so that your suitability can be assessed properly.
Possible risks and side effects
Temporary side effects may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, tingling, stinging, aching, itching, skin sensitivity or numbness.
These effects usually improve over time, but some may last for several days or weeks.
As with any body-contouring procedure, results may not be exactly what you hoped for, and surface irregularities or asymmetry can occur.
A rare complication called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia can cause the treated area to become larger rather than smaller. This is uncommon, but it is important that clients understand the risks before treatment.
This could be the area you stop hiding
You can continue waiting for that stubborn area to change by itself.
You can continue pulling your clothing down, avoiding fitted clothes, standing at the back of photographs or telling yourself that you will deal with it “one day.”
Or you can start giving that area the focused attention it has been resisting.
Fat freezing is not about becoming someone else.
It is about finally seeing a smoother, more refined version of the shape you have already been working towards.
Book your fat-freezing consultation and find out whether your stubborn area is suitable for treatment.
Because the longer you wait, the longer you remain frustrated by the same area.
And the sooner you begin, the sooner your body can begin changing it.
